QU11293 Replacement 3.55 Ratio Ring and Pinion Set for Chrysler 9-1/4" rear axles.

This Ring and Pinion Set is ONLY available in a "2-Cut" style. The "2-Cut" Style Ring and Pinion requires a few modifications to how you set up the ring and pinion in your diff. Traditional Ring and Pinion Set are "5-Cut". Instructions are available online. Please call if you have any questions.

Tech Note 1:
2-Cut Gear Sets are produced by Face Hobbing, The Ring Gear has constant depth from Heel to Toe. 2-Cut Gears also have a natural "bias" condition; the pattern shows up slanted when the pattern is rolled with gear marking compound. Face Hobbed / 2-Cut gears generally need to be set up with slightly less backlash than a traditional Face Milled / 5-Cut gearset.

5-Cut Gear Sets are produced by Face Milling, The Heel (Outside) of the Gear is taller than the Toe (Inside). Most Ring and Pinion Sets are still 5-Cut.
