QU50048 Clamp for Axle Vent Hose This original equipment type, stainless steel, 1-ear clamp is used to secure standard, 5/16" inside diameter axle vent hoses on many Dana-Spicer and corporate front and rear axles plus numerous transmission and transfer case applications. Maximum outside diameter of hose can not exceed 9/16". Made in Canada.

Tech Note 1: Inspect
Do you have an axle, transfer case, or transmission seal leaking? If so, check the vent fitting, hose, and end cap for obstructions. As you drive and heat builds up from friction, a plugged vent system will prevent expanding gases from exiting to the atmosphere. Result: Leaks occur as pressure builds up and forces lubricants past the seal.
